President Trump's tariffs on Canadian goods have cost U.S. winemakers $357 million in sales in the last year, the Wine Institute said.

Citing unnamed sources, Reuters and The Wall Street Journal are reporting that Sazerac Co. is exploring a deal for Brown-Forman. It's been previously reported that Pernod Ricard is also in talks that may lead to a merger with the largest U.S. distiller by market cap.

Constellation Brands reports it earned $1.687 billion, or $9.61 a share, a 2.17% increase despite a 10% dreop in sales to $9.130 billion in fiscal 2026.

Share of stomach translates directly to share of shelf, and at many convenience stores that means while wine coolers and ready-to-drink cocktails have taken off, some C-stores have reduced or removed wine from their cold boxes.
