# Diageo, A-B, PepsiCo Withdraw from Sponsoring Event Headlined by Kanye West

After **Diageo, Budweiseer, BeatBox** and **PepsoiCo**. signed contracts to sponsor the UK's 2026 Wireless Festival, the festival producer signed Kanye West as the headliner. The beverage companies announced they were withdrawing. PayPal has also dropped out.

The rapper, who has gone by the name Ye in recent years, has been accused of making antisemetic and offensive remarks. West has apologized for the remarks and blamed them on a 25-year-old auto crash that he says damaged his brain and led to a bipolar type1 diagnosis.
