# Gang Steals Thousands of Bottles From Marchesi Antinori in Tuscany

Thieves drove off with thousands of bottles of wine from a Tuscany winery belonging to Marchesi Antinori. It's believed to be the biggest theft of its kind in Italian history. 

The thieves shut of the alarms and suveillance cameras and used company forklifts to load two large truck with 30,000 bottles of wine, including bottles of Solaia, Guado al Tasso and Tignanello, notable as one of the first red wines in the Tuscany region to be produced without white grapes. The stolen bottles were priced at between 120 and 400 euros each.
