For the past 21 years, **Brown-Forman Corp.** has celebrated its founding by George Garvin Brown by releasing **Old Forester's Birthday Bourbon**. In 1870, George Garvin Brown was the first to seal his whisky, Old Forester, in a glass bottle. To commemorate his birthday, the First Bottled Bourbon annually releases a limited edition, vintage-dated expression, Birthday Bourbon. 

This year, for the first time, there will be no in-store distillery release on Sept. 2 as the brand has done in past years. Instead, the brand will be hosting a sweepstakes from Aug. 24 – Aug. 31 to open up the opportunity for national bourbon lovers to purchase this bottle.
