# Pacific Rim Closing in Bankruptcy

**Pacific Rim & Co.,** once the 12th largest Washington State's winery with annual production of 242,000 cases**,** is winding down operations. It filed for bankruptcy protection in March. 

All of its brands – Pacific Rim, Sweet Bliss, Thick Skin, Silver Raven, and Rainstorm – will be discontinued after existing inventory is sold. 

Members of the Mariani family purchased the winery in 2010 via G4 Family Holding. **Banfi Vintners**, owned by **Cristina Mariani-May**, serves as the sales and marketing agency for Pacific Rim.
