SVB had more than 400 bottles at its Santa Clara branch and around 300 at its Menlo Park branch, where they were "meticulously racked and kept in a climate controlled environment," according to the auction site. The rest – about 1,200 bottles – were kept at the private wine vault Domaine Napa. (Wall Street Journal)
