**O'Neill Vintners & Distillers** hired Tom Fantham as Chief Commercial Officer and member of the Executive Leadership Team effective May 22\. He spent 25 years at Trinchero Family Estates, where he was VP-National Accounts and Chief Commercial Officer. 

**Mike Grgich**, the legendary Croatian-Californian winemaker, turned 100 in April. His most celebrated achievement came in 1976 when a Chardonnay he crafted for Chateau Montelena beat the very best wines in France in a now famous blind tasting in Paris. This event that stunned the wine world and catapulted the Napa Valley into the front ranks of the leading wine-producing regions of the world.
