Anheuser-Busch InBev ranks No. 241 among all companies in the recently releassed Fortune Global 500, but among beverage companies, it is No.1 far outranking both Coca-Cola (No. 344) and Fomento Economico Mexicano (454).

ABI's revenue last year increased 6.4%, the smallest increase of the three beverage firms.  Coca-Cola had an  11.3% sales gain, and Fomento Economico jumped 22%.

But when it comes to profit, the picture reverses.  Only ABI posted positive profit growth, up 27.8% against Coca-Cola's -2.3% and Fomento Economico's 15.4% drop in profit.
