Now, Champagne is working on a plan to cut carbon emmissions an addition 2% a year, reaching net carbon zero by 2050.Mechanical equipment and bottles, along with varietal creation and even freight shipments using sailing boats are among the avenues being explored by Comité Champagne to reach this goal.
