Drake's Organic Spirits Named to Inc. 5000

Drake’s Organic Spirits, Minneapolis, was named to the Inc. 5000, the most prestigious ranking of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies.

This is Drake’s Organic Spirits first appearance on the list, and at No. 321 (1,174% growth) it is easily within the top 10% of all companies honored; additionally, Drake’s ranks as the 8th largest appointee in Minnesota ,and 13thin the Food & Beverage. The Inc. 5000 ranks companies by overall revenue growth over a three-year period; the minimum revenue required for 2018 was $100,000,and the minimum for 2021 was $2 million; companies on the 2022 list achieved a median growth rate of 230%.

Privately held businesses are the American economy’s most dynamic segment; the Inc. 5000’s aggregate revenue was $317.2billion in 2021, accounting for 1,178,302 jobs over the past three years.

Launched in 2017, Drake’s Organic has been the leading spirits brand building out a new health and wellness category in the beverage alcohol space focused on “Better for you, better for the planet” products, including spirits, mixers, Spiked Ice adult popsicles, and BoxTails  ready-to-drink cocktails in a box. In just five years, the company reached sales of 90,000 9-liter cases in 2021, distribution in 44 states and 5 countries. In its latest development, Drake’s began supplying bulk cane alcohol B2B, selling  a portion of its annual 12 million proof gallons of organic cane alcohol to companies seeking high-quality sustainable organic alcohol.
