Independence Brewing to Donate to Pink Boots Society

Independence Brewing Co., Austin, Tex., will donate proceeds from its October 22 18th Anniversary Celebration to the Pink Boots Society, which was created to assist, inspire and encourage women and non-binary individuals in the fermented/alcoholic beverage industry to advance their careers through education.
As a female brewery founder, Amy Cartwright has always been passionate about helping young women break into the industry and make careers out of beer.

Thirteen new and revamped beers will be showcased at the event including a popular Pumpkin Spice lager, barrel-aged Convict Hill Oatmeal Stout, and Bootlegger Brown Ale, which hasn’t been brewed since 2016. Guests will vote for their favorite beer to become the next taproom-exclusive release.

Independence Brewing  will  also feature its line of non-alcoholic, Delta 8 & Delta 9-infused sparkling waters, with flavors like Orange Aperol, Blueberry Maqi, and Cucumber Gin.

“We couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate our 18th year in business than by doing what we do best — making great beer,” said Amy Cartwright, co-founder/president of Independence Brewing Co. “We’ve always been a team of independent thinkers and drinkers, and as such, we’re constantly innovating. We’re excited to share some of our latest creations at the party alongside some old favorites.”
