Lawson’s Finest Introduces its Maple Ale Outside Vermont

Lawson’s Finest Liquids is introducing its fan-favorite maple ale, Mad River Maple, for the first time outside Vermont.

Made with 100% pure Vermont maple syrup, Mad River Maple is making its debut across Vermont, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania and Rhode Island this week.

At 8% ABV, the beer is said to boast a robust, rich feel with a slightly sweet finish. Donning a new name and artwork for its debut across the Northeast, Mad River Maple has been a seasonal fan-favorite in the Green Mountain State for years.

“Mad River Maple was originally inspired by an old English homebrewing recipe that calls for molasses as a sweetener,” explains Sean Lawson, CEO and Founding Brewer of Lawson’s Finest Liquids. “Instead, we load Mad River Maple with some of the region’s best, 100% pure Vermont maple syrup. The early addition of bittering hops balances out the sweetness, resulting in a complex brew with layers of flavor.”
