Louis Vuitton Moet Hennessy reports sales for its wine and spirits business declined 9% in 2025 to 5.358 billion euros (roughly $6.420 billion US). On an organic basis, LVMH's sales fell 5%, it said. Wine & Spirits profit from recurring operations plunged 25% to 1.016 billion euros from 1.356 billion euros.

" 2025 confirmed the slowdown in demand observed since 2023, following several exceptional  years. The impact on customers of trade tensions also weighed on the key markets of China and the United States.

"LVMH’s champagne houses maintained their market share of 22% of all Champagne-appellation shipments, and Provence rosé wines continued to outperform the rosé category worldwide. Revenue for Hennessy cognac was held back by weaker local demand, mainly due to issues with customs duties in China and the United States," the company said.

"The Wines & Spirits Maisons continued to invest in the long-term desirability of their brands and launched a program aimed at boosting efficiency and reducing costs," LVMH said."

LVMH is a diversified luxury goods retailer. It reported total revenue from five operating divisions o f Euro 80.8 billion in 2026. Profit for the group as a whole slipped 9% in 2025, confirming the slowdown in demand observed since 2023, following several exceptional years.
