Moosehead Breweries Sells Crate of 1,461 Cans of Beer to Canadians

The action by Canada's oldest brewery is the latest response to President Trump's tariff actions as well as his call to make Canada the 51st state.
Previously, Ontario's premier ordered the removal of all U.S.-made alcohol from retail shelves in the province. Nova Scotia followed with a similar policies.
The limited-edition pack, dubbed the “Presidential Pack,” was unveiled on Friday and contains one can of lager for each day of the next four years, the full duration of United States President Donald Trump’s second term.
Founded in 1867, Moosehead is offering the crate only on its website to residents of Ontario, New Brunswick and Nova Scotia for about $3,500 CAD or $2400 USD.
In a press release, Karen Grigg, director of marketing for the New Brunswick-based Moosehead said, “If the start of 2025 has taught us anything, it’s that it will take determination to weather four years of political uncertainty—and what better way to make it through each day than with a truly Canadian beer.”
