Oldest Winery in McMinnville AVA Celebrates 40 Years

Yamhill Valley Vineyards was founded by Denis Burger and Elaine McCall.  It rapidly developed a reputation for quality wines, outcompeting French Burgundies  in a blind tasting at the Steamboat Pinot Noir Conference.

The second generation has now taken up the reins. Denis and Elaine's daughter, Jenny Burger, is General Manager and President, while Denis' son, Greg Burger, is National Sales Representative, and Vice President.
