“Springtime in this region can be dark and feels like it will never arrive,” explains Tröegs co-founding brother and brewmaster John Trogner. “But the snow begins to melt, the days get longer, and you start to get excited for that first warm day. This beer is meant to help snap out of the cold and build that anticipation.”
Daylight Chaser starts with a complex malt bill incorporating pale, caramel, and black malts as well as an addition of wheat to produce a dusky hue and rich, toasty malt backbone. To brighten the flavor and aroma profiles, a combination of Simcoe, Mosaic and Citra hops adds radiant notes of blood orange and papaya.
It's 6.3% ABV and is available on draft and in 12-oz. bottles and cans across the brewery’s entire distribution footprint.
