TTB Approves Muscardin as Grape Variety to be Used in American Wines

The approval came in a letter to Jason Hass, president, Haas Vineyard Co. from Amy R. Greenberg, director of TTB's Regulations and Rulings Division.

She said the petition to add Muscardin to the lists of grape variety names approved for designation of American wine contained "sufficient evidence for us to approve Muscardin as an acceptable grape variety designation for American wines."
