Heck, the owner of Korbel Champagne, bought back the Sonoma County winery. Prior to the sale, Pernod Ricard, which bought the property from Korbel, sold the 33-acre winery for $4 million to Kenwood Winery Land LLC, a company led by Gary Heck, owner of F. Korbel & Bros. Before the sale, Kenwood Vineyards' website said it is closed until further notice.
Now its Yelp and Google listings say its tasting room is temporarily close.
