Captain Morgan, the first spirits brand to advertise on television, is back across North America with its new platform, ‘Spice It Up’ and creative ad campaign ‘Great Things Happen When You Spice It Up.

The new platform and campaign’s ‘Spice It Up’ tagline puts a new spin on "spice" and urges fun-seekers to grab a bottle of Captain Morgan and give any gathering a playful twist.

As the Official Spiced Rum Sponsor of the NFL, Captain Morgan launched its platform refresh with a new NFL :15 second spot ‘Chill Out,’ on Sunday, Oct. 9 on the NFL Network. The spot itself features fans of opposing NFL teams spicing up their rivalry with a little playful mischief in a fresh, memorable way.

In addition to the hero 15-second 'Chill Out' NFL film, the new campaign is comprised of three additional films, along with short-form digital/ social content set to roll out across TV, streaming and digital/social platforms throughout the remainder of the year, each featuring occasions in need of spicing up, and sharing a  mischievous, quirky tone that brings people together through irony and playful rivalry.
