Beer Institute estimated U.S. brewers shiped 11.9 million barrels in December, down 14.1% from the year-earlier removals of 13,848,277 barrels.
For the full year, Beer Institute estimates domestic tax paid shipments totaled 161,586,015, down 4.6% from 2021.
