Forever chemicals are in nearly half of America’s tap water. Here’s how to reduce your exposure.

Here’s the thing: PFAS, the risks of which have been well documented, are ubiquitous in the environment. Nearly half of US tap water contains them, according to a recent US Geological Survey study.  It’s almost impossible to avoid them entirely, but you can limit your exposure—and if you’re concerned about your tap water specifically, there are a few practical steps you can take:
