For Sale: McManis Vineyard Portfolio: 11 Properties, Including Winery, $77,950,000

McManis Family Vineyards is selling 11 properties, including a winery designed for small-lot production with significant g=fermentation capacity.

It's being offered as individual parcels ranging from 9.2 acres for $800,090 to 758 acres for $14 million. The 71,483 square-foot McManis Winery Facility, built in 2000, is available for $22.5 million. The winery includes a bottling line that can produce 2.5 million to 3 million cases a year.

McManis is a victim of President Trump's tariffs against Canada. While Trump imposed the tariffs, following various verbal attacks on our northern neighbor, most Canadian provinces pulled U.S. alcohol beverage products from their shelves.

Exports to Canada, primarily Ontario, made up about 40% of the McManis family's export sales – 75,000 cases. One year later sales to Canada totaled 1,000 cases, about 50% of export sales. About 90% of the winery's business is growing and crushing grapes to produce bulk wine for other vintners. Some of those are also dealing with Canada's boycott of U.S. bev/al products.

Less than two years ago, McManis Family Vineyards announced that sales and marketing functions of the company were shifted to Resurrection Brands.
