Joe Campbell, Early Willamette Valley Vintner, Dies

Joe Campbell, who with his wife Pat founded Elk Cove Vineyards in Willamette Valley, the first winery in what today is the Yamhill-Carlton appellation, has died. He was 87.

He was also a physician. His work on medical missions was among the things for which he was most proud.
