Michter's Acts to Expand Capacity

Facing continued inventory shortages, Michter's Distillery said it has acted to expand its production capacity, adding six 18,000-gallon fermenters.  In late 2022, its core Shively, Ky., distillery to a 24/7 operation. It has also bought  new bottling equipment.

The discussion of Michter's recent expansion came as the distillery introduced the 2023 edition of  Michter;s 10 Year Rye.  This is the first time since July 2022 that Michter's has released a 10 Year Rye. SRP: $200.
