Oakshire Brewing Throws Going Away Party, Will Close After 20 Years

Oakshire Brewing, Eugene, Ore., is throwing a big block party Oct. 3 to mark its 20th anniversary and the closing of its production brewery and all its taprooms in Eugene, Springfield and Portland.

 “We’ve faced years of rising costs, increasing competition, the financial damage of COVID, and changes in how people gather to eat and drink. We worked hard to adapt, but we can’t continue operating Oakshire as a whole,” Jeff Althouse, founder/CEO, said .
