Pepper Distilling Awards Winebow 4 Additional Markets

James E. Pepper Distilling Co. said it expanded its distribution partnership with Winebow to include California, Maryland, Washington, D.C., and Delaware.

This move builds on Winebow’s representation of the brand across seven existing markets and reflects the continued partnership growth as the distillery strengthens its national distribution strategy.

The Pepper family brand of whiskey traces its roots to the American Revolution and is distilled today at its historic site in Lexington, Ky. (DSP-KY-5). After being shuttered in 1967, the distillery was revived after more than a decade of historical research and redevelopment, with distillation resuming in 2017 using the same mash bills in place prior to its closure.

The James E. Pepper portfolio includes the 1776 Rye and Bourbon—widely recognized as staples in cocktail programs nationwide—along with Old Pepper Bottled-in-Bond Rye and Bourbon and the recently
introduced Decanter Bourbon.

“This transition reflects both strong execution and long-term alignment," said Amir Peay, Owner/Operator. "Winebow understands the market, builds meaningful brands, and we’re confident in their ability to continue growing James E. Pepper.”

“The Winebow team is thrilled to expand our strong partnership with Amir and the team at James E. Pepper Distillery. We recognize this Kentucky whiskey portfolio as a benchmark of both quality and value, with limited releases that continue to wow the team and our customers alike,” said Monique Huston, VP-Strategic Spirits Development & Relations.
