PLCB Raising Prices
Pennsylavania Liquor Control Board said it will raise prices of 3,5000 products 4%, effective Jan. 15. Excluded from the price increase are 5,600 one-time buys, such as seasonal and luxury items; 2700 items on clearance, 100 PA Proud items in 10 or few Fine Wine & Good Spirits
Pennsylavania Liquor Control Board said it will raise prices of 3,5000 products 4%, effective Jan. 15.
Excluded from the price increase are 5,600 one-time buys, such as seasonal and luxury items; 2700 items on clearance, 100 PA Proud items in 10 or few Fine Wine & Good Spirits stores; special orders, and 397 items currently on sale. When the sale ends Jan. 30 and the price reverts to normal, the 4% increase will be applied.
The PLCB said the increase is needed to offset annual 8% increases in operating costs over the past four years.
