Proximo Spirits has launched 1800 Tequila Triple Cask Añejo, the brand’s first travel retail exclusive, at New York’s JFK Airport, marking the beginning of a broader rollout across the Americas.

Running through March with DFS at Terminal 4, followed by April to June with iShoppes at Terminal 1, the activation showcases the tequila through an immersive retail theatre concept inspired by the three casks used in its aging process: French oak, American oak and Cabernet Sauvignon wine casks. Port-hole podiums bring the 1800 Tequila brand story to life, while brand ambassadors invite travelers to sample the ultra-premium expression firsthand.

Crafted from 100% blue agave from the Beckmann family estate in Jalisco, Mexico, 1800 Tequila Triple Cask Añejo is matured in three distinct barrels. Bottled at 40% ABV in a 1-liter format exclusively for travel retail, the tequila displays a bright copper hue with golden highlights, with notes of wood, caramel, cherry and plum. On the palate, it offers a balance of cooked agave sweetness, subtle honey and gentle spice, best enjoyed neat or on the rocks.
