Wente Family Estates Names Peter Yeung Chief Executive Officer

Wente Family Estates, the country’s longest continuously family-owned and operated winery, appoints Peter Yeung as Chief Executive Officer. Yeung, who has served as the company’s interim CEO since January, transitions into the permanent role effective immediately.

Yeung’s appointment comes on the heels of several important updates to the senior leadership team, including fifth generation winegrower Aly Wente’s appointment to the role of Chief Revenue Officer and fifth generation winegrower Karl Wente’s new role as Chief Operating Officer. Other members of the fifth generation of the Wente family continue to serve in leadership roles, including Niki Wente as Director of Viticulture, Jordan Wente as Senior Brand Ambassador, and Christine Wente as Chair of the Board. The fourth generation of the Wente family, Eric, Phil, and Carolyn, continue to provide wise counsel as current and past members of the Board of Directors.
