Who & What --

Stags Leap Winery hires Ludovic Dervin as senior winemaker and general manager, succeeding Christophe Paubert, who has led the winery for 13 years,  and who will retire and return to his home country of France after this year’s harvest.  Dervin, who hails from the Champagne region of France, has been making wines in California since the mid-1990s for luxury wineries such as Hartford Court, Kendall Jackson’s Vérité and Mumm Napa.
