WES Brands, parent of Flecha Azul Tequila and BSB Flavored Whiskey, appointed Sheldon "Shelly" Stein chairman of its advisory board. Stein spent the last 13 years as CEO of Glazer’s Distributors and then President of Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits.  He played a crucial role in the merger of Glazer's Distributors and Southern Wine & Spirits to form Southern Glazers Wine & Spirits, the largest U.S. bev/al distributor.

Cakebread Cellars hires Michael W. Thomas as chief financial officer. He joins from Foley Family Wines.
