Chappellet Winery  announced the promotion of Mitch Boyd to the newly created position of vice president of global sales. As part of a significant restructuring of Chappellet's trade team, the winery also promotes Jacob Jata has been promoted to director of sales, east; hires April Collins has been hired as director of sales, west, with Amy Chappellet taking on the new position of director of trade relations.

Colorado Wine Industry Development Board names Kyle Schlachter executive director.  Schlachter previously was marketing director for the board, and steps into the role following the retirement of Doug Caskey, who served as the board's director for 23 years.

Alison Herman retires as senior counsel regulatory & compliance with Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits.

Ehlers Estate hires Adam Casto as head winemaker.   He spent the past 11 years working under the guidance of Philippe Melka at both DANA and Gandona Estates. During his tenure at Gandona, he ascended to the role of winemaker and director of vineyard operations.
