Wine Retailers Sets Date for DC Meeting

National Association of Wine Retailers (NAWR) has announced its 2027 Wine Retailer Summit is set for April 27-28, 2027, in Washington, DC at the Washington Marriott Marquis. Now heading into its 11th annual incarnation, the gathering limits the meeting to only 100 attendees. The Summit registration is now open at: https://www.nawr.org/2027-summit.

The annual two-day conference convenes brick-and-mortar merchants, fine wine internet retailers, auction houses, legal counsel, and logistics pioneers from across the country to confront the most pressing commercial, legal, and operational issues facing the retail wine tier.

Convening in the nation’s capital at a critical juncture for alcohol trade policy, the 2027 Summit will address regulatory modernization, direct-to-consumer (DTC) shipping litigation, trade tariffs, supply chain adaptation, and evolving consumer drinking demographics.

“The independent fine wine retail tier operates at the absolute front line of consumer demand, yet merchants continue to navigate an increasingly volatile regulatory and economic landscape,” said Tom Wark, Executive Director of the National Association of Wine Retailers. “The NAWR Summit has evolved into an essential conclave for independent wine retailers because it moves beyond superficial talking points. We bring together decision-makers who actually move the needle in the fine wine market to examine interstate commerce battles, market access, and business strategy with total candor. If you want to understand where the U.S. wine market is truly heading, this is the room you need to be in.”
