$75,000 Offered to One Person to Follow His Passion

Unshackled (Prisoner Wine Co.) is offering $75,000 to one person ready to break free from the day-to-day grind to pursue their dreams.

“The Great Unshackling” invites individuals to embrace their passions without limitations—whether it be through a project, a new career, ambitious side hustle or creative pursuit—and is doling out $75,000 to make it happen. Want to design your own capsule collection? Have at it. Want to create a speakeasy Instagram-only bakery out of your kitchen? Go for it.

“At Unshackled, we believe that labels are limiting, conventions are for challenging, and rules are for rewriting—and when it comes to wine, we are doing just that,” says Bukola Ekundayo, General Manager, The Prisoner Wine Company. “Now we want to encourage others to do the same in their lives. We want this $75,000 to give someone the same freedom we had when we launched Unshackled—to follow their passions and chart their own course.”

Between now and Sept. 7, passion pursuers are invited to enter by posting a video on Instagram using the hashtags #TheGreatUnshacklingContest, #21 and tagging and following @unshackledwines. A panel of judges will evaluate entries based on originality, feasibility, and sincerity to select five finalists. Consumers will then be able to vote on their favorite entry. No purchase necessary. Void where prohibited. Open to U.S. residents 21 or older. The contest ends at 11:59pm ET on 9/7/22.
