Ingredients:

  • 2 oz Waterloo Barrel Aged Gin
  • 1 oz fresh lemon juice
  • ½ oz simple syrup
  • ½ oz blackberry liqueur
  • Fresh blackberries (garnish)
  • Fresh sage (garnish)

Method:
In a cocktail glass, muddle 2–3 blackberries with simple syrup. Fill the glass with crushed ice, then add Waterloo Gin and lemon juice. Gently stir to combine. Float the blackberry liqueur over the top using the back of a spoon. Garnish with fresh blackberries and a sprig of sage.

The cocktail is bright and herbaceous with a touch of warmth, making it a fresh take on a classic that’s perfect for Father’s Day features, gift guides, or cocktail roundups.

About:

Traditionally, a Bramble is built on London Dry gin, but this version reimagines the classic by using an American-style, barrel-aged gin that brings oak character and spice while keeping the cocktail’s bright, fruit-forward core intact. Aged for a minimum of two years in charred American oak barrels using the same approach as bourbon, Waterloo’s Barrel Aged Gin delivers a rich, layered profile with notes of warm oak, subtle vanilla spice, classic juniper, and pecan. The result is a Blackberry Bramble with added depth and a slightly more distinctive edge for Father’s Day.
