Four Roses Intros Anthology, an Annual Ultra-Premium Series of Rare Releases
Four Roses Distillery has announced Anthology, a new annual ultra-premium series of rare and highly limited releases that will explore key chapters in the brand’s 138-year history. The inaugural release, Chapter One: Origin, is a 21-year-old OBSF bourbon and the oldest release in Four Roses history.
The first chapter is inspired by Four Roses’ founding story, when founder Paul Jones Jr. named the brand after his Southern belle accepted his marriage proposal by wearing a corsage of four red roses to a grand ball in 1888. The release pays tribute to the moment that inspired the brand and the themes of love and connection that continue to define Four Roses today.
Launching during one of the brand’s most innovation-focused years to date, Anthology marks a new platform for Four Roses to showcase mature inventory and rare releases while highlighting the stories that have shaped the brand.
Only approximately 1,200 bottles will be released at the Four Roses Visitor Center on 7/10 and at a brand pop-up on Whiskey Row on 7/11 at a suggested retail price of $500.
