Gallo Suspends Crush Operations at Turner Road Facility in Lodi

Gallo said closure of the Turner Road crush facility in Lodi "reflects available capacity in our other wineries in the region." About 20 employees who are impacted employees "have been personally notified and are receiving individualized transition support, including the opportunity to explore other roles within the organization."

The facility will remain open for Tetra Pak blending and bottling and finished goods distribution. Gallo recently added a 200ml Tetra Pak line at the plant.

Gallo acquired the facility from Constellation in 2021. Constellation bought the plant and the brand from the Sebastiani family in 2001. It was originally built by a coop in 1946.
