Winemakers Jointly Buy Building at Vintner's Village

Coyote Canyon and Martinez & Martinez winery tenants of The Winemaker's Loft, a 20-year-old building at Vintners Village in Prosser, Wash., have joined with Desert Moon Winery, which moved into the building last year, to buy it.

The sale price wasn't disclosed.

The three wineries produce wine from grapes grown in the Horse Heavens Hills AVA. Martinez & Martinez has the oldest roots in the area; the family that owns it began growing grapes in 1960, 45 years before launching their winery. But Coyote Canyon has produced wine longer – for 22 years. Desert Moon began in 2023.

Twelve wineries currently have wineries and tasting room in Vintners Village.
