New: The Balvenie Limited Edition 12 Year Old Expression

The Balvenie Single Malt Scotch Whisky unveiled  The 1931 Collection, which includes a new 12 Year Old limited-edition expression made from 100% Home Malted Barley, now available across the U.S. for $99.99. 

Crafted using similar traditional techniques as the collection’s exceptionally rare 88 Year Old, the 12 Year Old offers a unique expression of The Balvenie’s signature house style, with warm biscuit and creamy toffee, followed by barley sugar sweetness, crystallized ginger, raisin and spice, and a rich, velvety finish.

The collection is anchored by an extraordinary 88 Year Old Single Malt, the oldest whisky ever released by The Balvenie. Distilled in 1931 and matured for 88 years in a European oak sherry butt, just 17 bottles exist. A 15 Year Old, made from 100% Home Grown and Home Malted Barley, rounds out the collection as a global travel retail exclusive.

To celebrate the collection, The Balvenie also collaborated with acclaimed artist Daniel Arsham, whose sculptural presentation for the 88 Year Old explores the passage of time, with his design extending across the 12 and 15 Year Old packaging.

The 12 Year Old will be available across the United States while supplies last; 88 Year Old will be available to private clients and collectors and the 15 Year Old will be available exclusively through global travel retail (MSRP: $199.99).
