St. Petersburg Distillery releases Freedom 250, a limited-edition bourbon created to celebrate American craftsmanship while supporting veterans, service members and military families through Hire Heroes USA.

Beginning Friday, July 3, only 900 hand-numbered bottles of Freedom 250 will be available exclusively through the St. Petersburg Distillery tasting room. Each bottle is priced at $149.99, with 25% of proceeds benefiting Hire Heroes USA, a nonprofit with a major St. Petersburg impact that helps U.S. service members, veterans and military spouses successfully move into civilian careers through personalized employment services provided at no cost.

Crafted in-house and copper pot distilled in small batches, the five-year-old high rye bourbon is bottled at cask strength and double oaked in local honey-finished barrels. The result is a bold yet balanced whiskey featuring pronounced rye spice, toasted oak and subtle floral notes.

“We wanted Freedom 250 to honor the history and the moment,” said Evan Brownstein, CEO of St. Petersburg Distillery. “This one-time release celebrates American craftsmanship, honors the service of our military, and gives bourbon enthusiasts something unique and meaningful to raise a glass with during our nation’s 250th anniversary.”
