Four Roses Bourbon and Nanz & Kraft Florists hosted the 16th annual Four Roses Flower Hour event on Thursday, Feb. 9, raising $7,000 to benefit the American Heart Association for Heart Month.
Flower Hour provided an opportunity to take care of Valentine’s Day shopping while sipping award-winning bourbon and enjoying complimentary hors d’oeuvres and live jazz music with Four Roses Master Distiller Brent Elliott and Four Roses Brand Ambassador & Mixologist Abby Martinie.
“It means a great deal to us to partner with Four Roses and Nanz & Kraft to raise awareness about heart health during American Heart Month,” said Karrie Harper, senior development director of American Heart Association. “As heart disease and stroke are the No. 1 and No. 5 killers, respectively, of all Americans, it is wonderful to see how much we’re able to raise during Flower Hour every year.”
Flower Hour also featured a silent auction with an array of items, including a few award-winning Limited Edition Four Roses bottlings, a Nanz & Kraft Valentine’s bouquet, tickets to the 2023 Louisville Heart Ball and more, with all proceeds benefitting the American Heart Association.
“We have a long-standing partnership with Nanz & Kraft and it was exciting to see everyone that came out to support such a great cause in our 16th year,” said Four Roses Master Distiller Brent Elliott.
