Costco Wholesale Warehouse acquired a Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board restaurant liquor license for its Cranberry Township store, north of Pittsburgh, in Butler County. Forbes reports Costco sold between $6.5 billion and $7 billion in global alcohol sales in 2023. According to the PLCB database, Costco has a license pending for a store in Warminster Township, Bucks County. It has also acquired a license for a store in King of Prussia, Montgomery County.
